My experience was exactly as you said.  We used your driver to pick us up in Dublin and take us to our AirBnB, as we did not need a car in Dublin.  Then after 3 days in Dublin he picked us up and took us to the airport where we rented our car.  He helped us with the GPS and getting onto the right motorway. The was worth the extra money.  Driving in Ireland took a few days to get used to but I quickly was navigating the Nissan (Similar to the Rogue).  We had a great experience and would recommend your one stop, low hassle service to anyone traveling independently.  I shall return to Ireland again, and will look you up.

I’m happy to tell you we had an excellent experience renting our car through your company for our trip in July (2015).  The price was reasonable, and everything went as expected (no surprises).  The car was in excellent condition and the people at the rental location (Dublin airport) were great.  Also we were happy to have the super CDW coverage.  It removed a lot of worry when driving on the left side of the road and on so many narrow, winding roads bordered by stone walls!  We did get a small ding on the car our last day (in a parking lot - not on the road), but had no problems or extra cost when returning the car.  All in all a great experience and I would highly recommend renting through you.

We are so glad we found you!  I was panicking about all the horror stories I read online about the car rental process in Ireland.  I didn't want to have a hold on my credit card or come back to the US owning a car in Ireland.

I happened to look through Trip Advisor and someone recommended your company.  Then i researched some more and they were all glowing reviews.  From the moment I called you to ask about information you were beyond helpful.  You put my mind at ease and told me everything is covered at the price you confirm with me.  The only items not covered were tires and windows.  

You even took time to tell me the must dos in Ireland and a few other helpful tips.  I didn't worry about a thing.  You also provided me information on the pick up service from Fintan.  I booked him and that added to our experience.  After a long trip his co worker drove us to our hotel and told us good Irish stories along the way.  It was wonderful!  Then Fintan picked us up and helped us with our rental car and even piloted us to make sure we were ok driving on the other side of the road.  

I can't say enough nice things about the service you and Fintan provide.  Thank you for everything.

No problems, everything was as stated.  I would highly recommend the wifi unit we had in the car.  Never needed our maps, never got lost.  Well, did get lost sometimes but it was our fault, not the unit.  And it was particularly convenient when our hotel did not have wifi in the bedrooms, only in public rooms.

Thank you Conn for all your good recommendations ahead of time and all the great information on driving in Ireland that you provided.

We had a fantastic experience on our 14 day adventure out of Dublin (Sep 25 – Oct 9).

We had no problems whatsoever in picking up the car and getting going.   About the only issue was that the auto had a defective CD drive that kept up an annoying bang bang bang loud sound all throughout the trip.  I notified Hertz when we returned the car.  

The car performed quite well and we took Conn’s recommendation to get the tire/glass insurance.  As it turned out, we didn’t need it but certainly felt safer.   

I had no real problem or issue driving on the left in Ireland, since I had done so in NZ and Australia 6 times before.  The only issue was just in getting very tired of being on high alert with the very narrow winding roads.  We managed through just OK though.  We did 2500 km in a clockwise circumnavigation of Ireland and Northern Ireland.  (Dublin, Kilkenny, Cashel, Waterford, Wexford, Cobh, Cork, Kilharney, Kenmare, ROK, Dingle, Burren, Galway, Connemara, Donegal, Derry, Portrush, Belfast).

The only incident at all was leaving Portrush, coming around a corner and finding another driver coming right at us.  I honked and they moved over (Chagrined tourists who forgot to be on the left).

I would heartily recommend touring by car since we had the chance to go places we enjoyed and stay however long we wanted, as well as stop at some wonderful spots – especially on the ROK and Dingle Peninsula and Antrim Coast.

We recommended your company to our friends who flew into Shannon and they also thanked me (and you) for this.

When we go back to Ireland we will not hesitate to use you again.

Tire & Wheel Coverage - I rented a lg van for 8 days and a midsize car for 20 days this past Oct. it was 10€ and 7€ per day if I remember right. If you blow out a tire or bend a rim, you could pay in the 300€ range for each, I've heard. The main roads in Ireland were pretty good. Some of the wee roads vary in quality! I opt for full coverage and then go and enjoy the trip and not have to stress about extra unexpected costs.

Good Morning,

My trip, as always, was wonderful. I upgraded to a slightly larger car - with diesel - and was pleased I did: great petrol economy. The free GPS was also great.

Quick Question: I noticed in the paperwork that rentals are through age 75? Hmmm, I'm 73 and would hope to visit my family and friends again in a couple years. Is the age "rule" a rigid one?

In fact, our car charger for our hot spot didn't work so we had to charge at our B&B's at night. When we mentioned that at return, we were credited the full amount for hot spot.
